I Am Really Nervous….please Help!!!?
ByI am currently a sophomore in high school right now. I have 100+ hours of community service. I have sometime before I have to worry about going to college, although I am already afraid. Where will I end up? I just realized how important an education really is. I want to do well and go to a great university, such as Northwestern or the University of Chicago.
Freshman year I did mediocre. Here are the classes and grades for the year.
Science B
Spanish D
English B (lower level first semester, than I moved up to average level)
Math D (average level first semester, than I moved down to lower level)
Social Studies B
PE B
Sophomore
PE A
Math D (average level)
Spanish (lower level) B
Social Studies B (only one semester grade)
Investing A (only one semester grade)
English B (first semester) A (second semester)
Health A (only one semester class)
Law A (only one semester class)
Biology B (first semester) A – B (second semester)
As you can see that I am progressing. I am scheduled to take two honors classes next year; english and history.
I have 100+ hours of community service.
I am afraid that I will end up no where. What do I do? HELP Please. Any help is appreciated.

i had a D my freshman year and a C and a D my sophomore year. but then i buckled down and got all A’s and B’s for the rest of school. and now i’m going to an albeit smaller but good college (marshall university) and they are paying for almost 80% of my education themselves.
don’t worrryyyy. but BUCKLE DOWN! you will thank yourself later.
and keep it up with community service. :]

Your grades aren’t THAT bad, but you have got to pull math up. I got all A’s and B’s and damn near flunked math every year, and it dragged my gpa all the way down to a 2.8. Once I came to college and only had to take math once, my gpa was a 3.5 so it made a huuuuge difference. You may end up having to go to community college first and transfer if you want to get into a top school and you don’t make up for that math somehow.

i am a junior, honestly, not saying to stop try, cuz education is very important, and i try hard too, but worrying will not do anything, and plus all will work out, try your best, and don’t worry about it, theres a college for everyone…even if u have a 65 avg or a 90 avg, always try to improve, but don’t go nuts doing it, Good Luck, and all will be fine = )

If you do good your next two years, you’ll be able to get into college. Maybe not a GREAT one, but at decent one at least.
But, there are alot of traits that can make you successful.
Honesty, for one. Being charismatic. Being able to take advice from others. Passion. Generosity. Determination.
Don’t get so hung up on grades. There are many paths to success; you just need to find the one that suits you best.

You are stupid why would you think you would end up no where? Just because you don’t make your dream party college, doesn’t mean you end up no where. A ‘D’ student can get into community college. Chill out- unless you plan on going to Ivy League or a very good state school…. then you’re f ucke d already.
